I go through these seasons too where all the &#39;little&#39; things in life just get to me. The kids not sleeping at night. Arguing with my 4 year old. My one year old teething. My husband leaving his water glasses around. Then I get a phone call that one of my friends has had a miscarriage (I&#39;ve gotten 4 of these calls in my life) or getting a call that one of my friends has lost their child to cancer (I&#39;ve gotten 2 of these calls) or that my friend lost her baby 2 weeks before her due date. Now that was a touching post! My pregnant hormones are going all over the place and your post brought me to tears. You have really hit the nail on the head. I do think that we all tend to take things for granite. Everyone needs to slow down in life. I always like to say when things get crazy...dance! It&#39;s so hard sometimes to keep our focus on this calling God has placed on our lives, and it&#39;s even harder when the little ones aren&#39;t as easy to handle as they once were.<br /><br />Don&#39;t beat yourself up, though. Every mom has days and moments of despair, waiting desperately for naptime. What matters is that you want to do the best you can for them, and you&#39;re trying.
